WATCH: Final Trailer For Jordan Peele’s ‘Nope’ Confirms Film Is About Aliens And UFOs
Last summer, Jordan Peele released an ambiguous movie poster for his upcoming third feature film Nope which led to fans speculating about the plot. The first official trailer was unveiled back in February, though a certain level of vagueness regarding the film’s narrative still remained.
On Thursday, the final trailer was released, and multiple fan theories were validated: the movie is indeed about aliens and UFOs. Starring Keke Palmer and Daniel Kaluuya who play siblings James and Jill Haywood, Nope follows our protagonists as they aspire to become filmmakers and continue along the path of their ancestors. Seeing the UFOs prompts them to sell footage, but this task proves to be more complex than they imagined.
Nope also stars Steven Yeun, Michael Wincott, Brandon Prea, and Barbie Ferreira. The film is part of a five-year deal that Peele’s production company Monkeypaw has with Universal Pictures. It is written and directed by Peele, and produced by Peele and Ian Cooper.
Nope will air at a theater near you on July 22nd. Watch the final trailer below.
